Aroha Rocks is an integral branch of the Aroha healing program as it is design to melt away some of the body’s holding patterns; tight tense muscles or muscular strain. Hot stone massage is an ancient therapeutic treatment that dates back thousands of years to the middle east. The ancient Hawaiian Kahunas incorporated hot stones into their massage. Lomi ili ili translates to ‘flat pebble massage’. Hawaiian ili ili hot stone massage is a beautiful flowing massage ritual. This treatment is deeply relaxing to the extreme!
Aroha Rocks has been developed by Mind Body Institute using a fusion of Hawaiian ili ili and mirimiri (traditional Maori massage). Aroha hot rock therapy is ideal for extreme tension in the muscles and calming of the nervous system. When the body is so tense & stressed that a regular massage is too painful, this is the body treatment to choose. Beginning with long smooth flowing strokes, the muscles are gently nurtured & softened for the heated stones to work their magic. Placed on points of tension, the heat emanating from the stones will sink gently into the tissues to leave you with a feeling of calm, more balanced and deeply relaxed. Aroha rocks hot stone therapy accelerates healing and rehabilitation, relieves muscular tension and stress, stimulates blood and lymph circulation & can correct digestive disorders. This special treatment session is closed with a gentle chakra balancing.

Aroha Energy Healing - 1hour - $100
Open up to your spiritual nature to invite and awaken to the healing powers of Aroha healing massage fused with reiki. Many clients have felt a sensation of floating away while receiving this ancient energy healing. Reiki works with the universal energy referred to by Chinese mystics as Qi or “Chi”.
Balanced personal energy is essential for good physical and emotional health. Your Aroha healing practitioner will focus on each chakra (energy centre) to balance your energy flow, and address any specific emotional or physical needs. You will feel extremely relaxed and at peace after this healing treatment.
Aroha healing massage
Aroha healing massage combines flowing Hawaiian lomi lomi strokes with the aroha healing signature nurturing Maori mirimiri (massage), and pounamu (New Zealand greenstone) placement. Muscles are relaxed as tension melts away. Energy centres are activated deep within leaving you with an euphoric feeling. Specific placement of pounamu (greenstone) is used to open heart energy within your pacifica healing session.
This is no ordinary massage, you will feel as though you are walking on air after this experience, as with all Aroha healing massages a few exercises will be given to you to begin implementing into your daily regime. This will assist in allowing you to keep feeling the energy flow within until your next visit.

Aroha healing facial therapy works with the healing energy of Reiki to provide a sense of holistic wellbeing to the recipient. Aroha healing facial therapy is a unique fusion of Reiki, organic aromatherapy, flowing massage, amethyst, clear quartz or chinese jade therapy, organic French clay and Aroha that leaves the recipient with a feeling of deep inner peace and tranquillity. We also provide education on your skin, the energy centres that encompass the head, throat and heart are discussed and activated and we will teach you the Aroha healing basic facial massage for you to stimulate your skin every day. You will leave this session feeling rejuvenated, deeply relaxed with a healthy radiance and glowing skin. This treatment is for everyone, male & female. Beautiful organic aromatherapy products are applied to balance and reduce the effects of life’s stresses. The skin is constantly massaged by your holistic therapist with the intention of healing and love. This is no ordinary facial….this is an experience.

Aroha healing Foot Ritual
Holistically all can be healed through the feet. Simply the most amazing foot treatment. Tension, stress and fatigue will melt away as you enjoy an aromatherapy foot soak. As your feet are massaged with warm basalt stones and healing oils, this restorative treatment will detoxify, soften and refresh your feet and being.
The Foot ritual consists of the following decadence:
- Foot soak in lemongrass Himalayan salts
- Hot rock & oil massage for the feet and legs
- Followed by the green French clay mask for the feet which is renowned for its detoxing and healing properties. This treatment is blissful!
